Description: Just a few miles North of Point Pleasant are 3,655 acres of public land with biking opportunities all around. The many abandoned roads from the once West Virginia Ordinance Works during WWII offer mountain biking all over, and many of the flat paved roads leading through it are great for road biking. Some of these roads already have signs in place by the WV DOH to "Share the Road" with bicycles. The PPBT Committee will be exploring the development of these trails in the future. ...You may also catch a glimpse of the Mothman!

The WVDNR has a great map of the area and it's current roads/trails here.

The non-paved roads have not yet been developed for mountain biking, riders should use caution in these areas and be aware of any current hunting seasons, see dates by the WV DNR here. Wearing blaze orange is also recommended when hunters may be in the area.
