Since the city of Point Pleasant removed the skate park from Harmon Park, this concrete pad has sat vacant for the past few years. The members of the Point Pleasant Bike Trail Committee devised a plan to give this location a new use! The PPBT Committee has installed 5 pieces of outdoor exercise equipment around the perimeter of this concrete. This will help diversify the opportunities our citizens have to be physically active.

 

This location is also along one of our safe bike routes in town and allows us to add an attraction to the bike trail. If we're lucky we can grow this project over the next couple years to give the concrete pad itself a new use as well. None of this could have been done without the help of the folks at Try This WV!
